Set of Four Ribbon Desset Plates. The tabletop for some reason always feels like the right space to play with maximalism, sumptuousness, and heritage, or to mix it up with a little old world and a little new. Charlap Hyman & Herrero‘s new plates series for Sprezz (created in collaboration with Charlap Hyman’s mom, artist Pilar Almon) offers an easy bridge between the two, each one printed with a ribbon in various states of unfurling. There’s also a series of lowball glasses adorned with astrological signs.

"We’re willing to bet your favorite foodie has never seen plates quite like these." — FORBES

Trompe l'oeil ribbons unspooling across dinner and dessert plates, by AD100 Designer Adam Charlap Hyman, and his mom artist Pilar Almon, present a ripe opportunity to serve up some mealtime whimsy.

The plates - dinner and desert - have paintings of ribbons delicately rippling and folding across them, casting shadows. They were inspired by a set of 18th c botanicals of citrus fruits with ribbon labels, and wanted to extract just the ribbons, as if they blew out of the lemon tree branches onto the table, landing on each plate.

Available in blue, pink, and black colorways. Mix and match our colorful plates to create an eclectic tablescape perfect for every occasion and season. Manufactured in Portugal using high-quality, dishwasher-safe porcelain.
