Design notes

Inspired by 17th and 18th century botanical drawings.

The plates - dinner and desert - have paintings of ribbons by AD 100 designer Adam Charlap Hyman & his mom, Pilar Almon, delicately rippling and folding across them, casting tromp l'oeil shadows. 

They were inspired by a set of 18th c botanicals of citrus fruits with ribbon labels, and wanted to extract just the ribbons, as if they blew out of the lemon tree branches onto the table, landing on each plate. 

Available in blue, pink and black colorways, our dessert plates add a sense of whimsy, nostalgia and artistry to any table. Whether you're hosting a birthday party, or enjoying an evening solo, you deserve moments of joy everyday.
